ABOUT MICROCHIPPING

This procedure is quick, and painless & is Permanent Identification.
The chipping process takes only a few minutes to complete and
can be carried out in the comfort of your home, at a time to suit you.
The microchip, which is about the size of a grain of rice, is injected into the loose skin between the animals shoulder blades, that remains with the animal for life!

                                                                    Microchips Actual
                                                                        size is 12mm

It is like a routine injection and your Pet won't know it's there.
The microchip holds a 'unique number' which is registered on the Petlog database alongside the owners details. This allows the owners details to be changed should they move premises or the dog be rehomed.

The chip is made out of inert materials to avoid rejection by the body, has no power source and has an anti-migration coating to avoid movement once implanted.

Once your pet and your details are registered, you will receive a registration certificate. Please keep this safe and remember to keep it up to date, so that you can easily be contacted, if your pet goes missing.

Lost & Found - 0870 606 6751 which is staffed 24/7.
The police, RSPCA, dog homes, dog wardens, local authorities and vets can scan the chip.
The database, which operates 24 hours per day, will be contacted and the ID number will confirm your address and then you and your pet will be reunited.

The microchips used are fully compliant with the Pet Passport Scheme.

LUKYMA Microchip Service only costs £15.00 for a Single Pet.
Litters & Groups at a discounted rate.
Can you really afford not to have your pet chipped?

A microchip does not replace the legal requirement for a dog to wear a visable tag, bearing the owners address.
